HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST (PART TIME)
To join an exciting new photographic experience for women.
Looking to recruit an experienced hair & make-up artist to help transform women for their "magazine style" portrait sessions.
This vacancy may suit a local freelancer or someone who has been/is a wedding hair & makeup artist.
Our aim is to take the best photograph our clients have ever seen of themselves. Part of the art is providing a welcoming and friendly environment for people to relax in.
That’s where you come in!
People will only relax in front of the studio lights if they are happy and comfortable with their hair & makeup and styling. So it’s vital that our hair & makeup artist has an open, friendly personality. It's very important that we can work as a team and that clients' can relate to and enjoy being with us.
Our style is based upon my mentor - see Sue Bryce Education.
The Job
We will schedule double shoots which are usually a mum/daughter, sisters, or friends, for a girls-day-out makeover and photo shoot.
The styling normally begins at 10.00 am in my home studio in Holbrook near Ipswich and is usually on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays as well as an occasional Saturday per month.
We have a wonderful studio with space for a make-up area with good lighting and table space.
The hair & makeup artist would need to provide the necessary products and the salary would reflect this.
Learning Opportunites
Opportunity to learn other skills like Photoshop, Retouching images and Studio Lighting.
Salary
Salary as agreed.
