Consultation
Let’s plan your portrait experience together and discuss how you want to be photographed. We can plan your session including clothing, location, image likes/dislikes and who you may want to be photographed with.
This is when I learn about you so that I capture what you have in mind - and for you to ask questions. We can review products and pricing and schedule a session. When a booking is made a session fee is then payable, please.
Studio
You will be welcomed to our studio in leafy Holbrook (or elsewhere) with refreshments prior to your hair and makeup.
Your hair and makeup is prepared to look it's best under photographic lights.
You can choose to come to the studio with some makeup on or with a fresh face.
Photo session
Relax! Your styling is complete and we’re ready to photograph you. You’ll be guided through multiple directed poses designed to show you and your outfits to best effect. You’ll look and feel beautiful so enjoy the day. Expect to be with us approximately three hours including one for hair and make-up.
Viewing Appointment
We'll invite you back to enjoy a video presentation of the best, edited images of your day prior to selecting your favourites.
You can order from a selection of print packages, luxury folio boxes made in Italy, wall portraits and albums.
Collection
Allow 4/5 weeks from the date of your viewing appointment for your order to be completed. We have an optional installation service (free) of your framed portraits in your home.

Prices
What’s the cost of this? Portrait experience booking fees are £150 which includes a pre-session consultation, professional hair and make-up, fully guided photography session and a viewing appointment. Additional print /digital images are £125 each and print/folios begin at £900. There is no pressure selling - you only buy what you love! The more you buy the lower the price.
How many people are included as part of my portrait experience?
Two people, with hair & make-up, are included within your session fee. Other members of your family/friends are welcome and can be included. If additional hair & make-up is required, there will be additional charges.
How long will the photo session last?
With hair & make-up and multiple outfit changes you should expect to be with us for approximately 3 hours including an hour for hair/make-up. There's no rush - we'll work at your speed as your comfort is our main concern.
Do you offer photo sessions at home or on location?
Yes! We are situated in a lovely rural setting with Alton Water, Pin Mill and other beauty spots on our doorstep. We are happy to photograph you at home, too. Most photography takes place in our Studios which is annexed to our home in Holbrook. There is separate access which is wheelchair friendly.
I hate having my photograph taken and I’m not photogenic.
You’re not alone - most people feel like that! A consultation prior to your session is essential to prepare you and us. There’s no rush. We’ll guide you through the whole process to allay any fears you may have so that you’ll look great.
How do I prepare - what clothes do I need?
At our consultation we’ll discuss the theme of your session and what you hope to achieve. This will determine what clothes and accessories you will need. We have a handy clothing guide which is given to you as part of the booking process.
Do I really need my hair and make-up done?
Professional hair and make-up is complimentary and included with your session/booking fee. We really do recommend this service as part of your session as we’ll make you look and feel gorgeous for the day.
When can I see the photographs?
Within a fortnight of your photo session we’ll arrange a viewing of your images in our studios. We do not have on-line galleries. In some circumstances, for people travelling outside this area, we can arrange your viewing and ordering session via Zoom.
Do you digitally enhance the photographs?
Yes! All digital images require some form of processing before they are usable. The object is to show you in the best light and we’ll discuss with you the level of retouching you prefer.

Payment
A session fee is due on your booking confirmation and is refundable should your circumstances change. Please give us 48 hours notice. Sales made during your viewing and ordering session are final. This is due to the customised nature of photography products which cannot be changed or used elsewhere. Debit/credit cards, paypal, bank transfer, gift cards purchased from our site and cash are all acceptable.
