I hate having my photograph taken and I’m not photogenic.

You’re not alone - most people feel like that! A consultation prior to your session is essential to prepare you and us. There’s no rush. We’ll guide you through the whole process to allay any fears you may have so that you’ll look great.

How do I prepare - what clothes do I need?

At our consultation we’ll discuss the theme of your session and what you hope to achieve. This will determine what clothes and accessories you will need. We have a handy clothing guide which is given to you as part of the booking process.

Do I really need my hair and make-up done?

Professional hair and make-up is complimentary and included with your session/booking fee. We really do recommend this service as part of your session as we’ll make you look and feel gorgeous for the day.

How many people are included as part of my session?

Two people, with hair & make-up, are included within your session fee. Others can of course, be included. There is no charge to include other members of your family and we usually recommend adding others towards the end of your photo session. However, if additional hair & make-up is be required, there will be additional charges.

Do you offer photo sessions at home or on location?

Yes! We are situated in a lovely rural setting with Alton Water, Pin Mill and other beauty spots on our doorstep. We are happy to photograph you at home, too. Most photography takes place in our Studios which is annexed to our home in Holbrook. There is separate access which is wheelchair friendly.

How long will the photo session last?

With hair & make-up and multiple outfit changes you should expect to be with us for 3-4 hours. There's no rush - we'll work at your speed as your comfort is our main concern.

When can I see the photographs?

Within a fortnight of your photo session we’ll arrange a viewing of your images  in our studios. We do not have on-line galleries. In some circumstances, for people travelling outside this area,  we can arrange your viewing and ordering session via Zoom.


Do you charge a session/booking fee? Please see information here about our prices. There is NO minimum purchasing requirement and absolutely no pressure selling. Naturally, we hope you will love your images and want to have them all!


Debit/credit cards, paypal, bank transfer, gift cards purchased from our site and cash.

Refund Policy

A session fee is due on your booking confirmation and is refundable should your circumstances change. Sales made during your viewing and ordering session are final. This is due to the customised nature of photography products which cannot be changed or used elsewhere.  See guarantee for further information.
